DOBLE LLAVE – Una explosión y un incendio se registraron en la refinería de petróleo más grande de Canadá. Autoridades de la compañía publicaron en un tuit que se trató de un «incidente importante«.

La empresa Irving Oil publicó otro tuit en el que indicó que «muchos empleados contratados fueron atendidos por lesiones potencialmente mortales. Todos los empleados que trabajan en el sitio habían podido ser contabilizados».
Por su parte, un funcionario del Departamento de Emergencias de New Brunswick, Geoffrey Downey, dijo a medios locales que solo se han reportado hasta el momento lesiones menores.
La refinería es la más grande del país con una capacidad de producción de 300.000 barriles de productos refinados por día.
